Mass Intentions
Having a Mass offered for a particular intention is a long-standing tradition within the Catholic Church and a special way of remembering someone in prayer.
Mass Intentions
A Mass may be offered for someone who has died, for someone who is living, in thanksgiving, for healing, for an anniversary or for another special intention.
It is a beautiful way of entrusting the people and intentions that are important to us to God through the celebration of the Eucharist.
Requesting a Mass
Please provide the name of the person or the intention you would like the Mass offered for, together with your preferred date.
If your chosen date is already allocated, the Parish Office will help you arrange a suitable alternative.
Mass Offerings
It is customary to make an offering when requesting a Mass intention, should you wish to do so. An offering is not a payment for the Mass and no one should feel unable to request a Mass intention because they cannot make an offering.
To request a Mass intention, contact the Parish Office or complete the online form below.
